I've already got an authoritative %26lt;Oxford Spanish Dictionary%26gt; on the bookshelf, it's not very heavy but rather inconvenient to carry around, so I'd like to get an intermediate level pocket dictionary. The edition of "Spanish-English %26amp; English-Spanish" (including the differences between Castilian %26amp; Latin American) would be much preferred. Do you have any suggestions for the following brand options? Thank you very much!
1. Oxford: %26lt;Pocket Oxford Spanish Dictionary%26gt;
2. Random House: %26lt;Random House Spanish Dictionary%26gt;
3. Collins: %26lt;Collins Easy Learning Spanish Dictionary%26gt;
4. Merriam Webster: %26lt;Merriam-Webster's Spanish-English Dictionary%26gt;
Remark: I personally can't get used to any electronic dictionaries, maybe I prefer to carry paper dictionaries around. Sometimes, I feel it's a pain looking up an electronic dictionary for more details.Choosing a pocket Spanish dictionary?
I would say Collins is a good one. it's quite easy to use and you can easilyunderstand all the translations.
hope it helped.Choosing a pocket Spanish dictionary?
I believe the perfect dictionary for you would be the "Vox-Harrap's" Spanish-English dictionary. It's medium-size, hardcover, and contains Latin American Spanish. There are different editions (I believe), and there are also paperback editions of either Vox or Harrap's dictionaries.Choosing a pocket Spanish dictionary?
