Trick-or-treating: Dulce o truco (You can also say: Dulce o travesura or truco o trato)

:)|||Shortcut -%26gt; Atajo (noun)
And the verbs for it are "atajar" or "recortar". "Atajar" is often used with a methaforical sense (to go straight to the point).
"Trick or treat" is often translated as "Truco o trato" in Spain or "Dulce o travesura" in Latin America, but we don't have the expression trick-or-treating, nor trick-or-treater nor anything like that just because that's an American tradition which ahs started to become popular here just a few years ago. Here you have some ways to say it:
The kids went trick-or-treating -%26gt; Los ni帽os salieron a pedir caramelos (the kids went out to ask for candy).
What a cute trick-or-treater! -%26gt; 隆Qu茅 ni帽o m谩s mono! 隆Qu茅 disfraz m谩s bonito!
Hope that helped =)|||Shortcut = Atajo
Trick or Treating = Dulce o Truco/ Trato o Truco|||atajo
