Can anyone tell me where to buy a cheap French and/or Spanish dictionary?

I'm in the middle of my French and Spanish AS levels at the minute and I need a French/English and a Spanish/English dictionary that's quite in-depth but not like a huge tome! I also don't want a dead expensive one because I don't know how often I'm going to be using it after A level.

Can anyone recommend anything?

Thanks! xxCan anyone tell me where to buy a cheap French and/or Spanish dictionary?

I'm in the US, but I gather you're in England or some other Commonwealth realm.

I bought my Spanish dictionaries at Wal-Mart, and they were cheap but are surprisingly good. I got a skinny one and a fat one, and they complement each other, sort of like Jack Sprat and his wife.

As for using it later, yes, you will. You'll be doing a crossword puzzle, and need to find "cool Mexican son" and you'll think, "He's gotta be wearing one of those big hats." You'll get the dictionary out of your box of college stuff, look up "hat" and find "sombrero".Can anyone tell me where to buy a cheap French and/or Spanish dictionary?
